It is with heavy hearts that we reflect on the passing of JoAnne A. Epps, the acting president of Temple University, a distinguished higher education leader with an illustrious career. JoAnne Epps, aged 72, left an indelible mark on both the university and the Philadelphia community.

For many of us at O3, Temple has been more than an institution; it’s been a source of inspiration and talent. Several of our current employees, including Christine Sheller, Alan Cho, and Erica Minton, proudly hail from Temple’s Tyler Art School.

JoAnne Epps was more than an administrator; she was a friend, a visionary, and a tireless advocate for education and community. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her contributions to higher education and the Philadelphia community will forever be cherished.
