O3 WORLD SPONSORS LIBERTY JS CONFERENCE

A large part of the O3 World culture is encouraging involvement in the tech industry, while supporting the local Philadelphia community, which is why we’re proud to be a sponsor for the Liberty JS Conference. The conference took place on September 30th and October 1st at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. The annual JavaScript tech conference was expanded to 2 days this year. Cole Kettler and Howie Ross both attended the conference and enjoyed Practical Implementation of Machine Learning and Accessibility in JavaScript along with the many other sessions.

The themes and talking points of the day included Accessibility, Access to cognitive systems like IBM Watson and User Interaction with Web browsers. At O3 we are currently working with the Watson Personality Insights service to gauge and predict consumer preferences. In addition, we are experimenting with voice-driven experiences using the Amazon Echo and look forward to including more of these themes and technologies inside our Labs program.
